Prado Dam Boat Tour

Tour Description

We'll pick you up at your hotel in Ibagué at the specified time and travel to the municipality of Prado in Tolima to visit the Prado Dam. This site, known as the inland sea of Colombia, showcases German and Japanese engineering.

Upon arrival at the banks of the Prado River, the boat will be ready for our journey across the dam. During the tour, we will explore the significance of this hydraulic construction covering 4,200 hectares (10,378 acres) of jungle. Key highlights include the Cascada del Amor waterfall and the Cueva del Mohán cave. A swimming stop will be made in the dam's waters, with an option to rent a jet ski if desired.

After the boat ride, we will return to the harbor for a typical lunch, which includes a main course and a drink, complementing the panoramic views. Weather permitting, we may engage in sport fishing or visit the waterfalls of the dam.

Finally, we'll return to Ibagué and drop you off at your hotel approximately 9 hours after the pickup time.
