Prado Dam Boat Tour

Tour Description

This tour begins with a pickup at your hotel in Ibagué, followed by a drive to Prado, Tolima. You will visit the Prado Dam, notable for its engineering significance and referred to as the inland sea of Colombia.

Upon arrival at the banks of the Prado River, a boat will await to commence the journey. Throughout the trip, insights regarding the dam, covering an area of 4,200 hectares (10,378 acres) in Tolima, will be shared. Key highlights include a visit to the Cascada del Amor waterfall and the Cueva del Mohán cave. There will also be an opportunity for a swim in the dam’s waters, and jet ski rentals are available.

Following the boat tour, a typical lunch will be provided, consisting of a main dish and a drink, complemented by scenic views. Depending on weather conditions, activities may include sport fishing or visiting the waterfalls of the dam.

The tour concludes with a return to Ibagué, dropping you off at your hotel approximately 9 hours after the initial pickup.
