Ballestas Islands & Paracas National Reserve Day Trip

Between 6 and 7 am, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Ica and depart for the El Chaco pier in Paracas.

Upon arrival, we'll start a boat tour of the Ballestas Islands, passing notable sights like the Candelabra, a geoglyph nearly 560 feet (170 meters) tall. The voyage lasts approximately two hours, during which we'll observe local wildlife, including Inca terns, pelicans, Humboldt penguins, and sea lions.

Afterward, we will return to El Chaco pier for free time for breakfast or a stroll, then proceed to the Paracas National Reserve. Here, we'll visit the viewpoints of La Catedral, Punta Santa María, and Playa Roja, with a stop at Lagunilla Beach for lunch on your own and La Mina Beach. Finally, we will return to Ica at 4:30 pm.

Options

You can enhance your experience with the following options:

Paracas National Reserve by minibuggy

This option allows you to explore the Paracas National Reserve in minibuggies for two hours. Each minibuggy accommodates up to two people. After the tour, you'll have free time for lunch at El Chaco pier before returning to Ica at 4:30 pm.

Paracas National Reserve by quad

This option follows the same itinerary but uses a quad for the two-hour tour of the Paracas National Reserve. Each quad accommodates one person, but children 5 years and older may ride with parents.

Pickup

This tour includes pickup from hotels in central Ica. If you are at a hotel outside the city, such as Hotel Hacienda San Juan or Viñas Queirolo, pickup will be at Plaza de Armas in Ica.
