Ballestas Islands & Paracas National Reserve Day Trip

Pickup will be between 6 and 7 am from your hotel in Ica, then we will depart for the El Chaco pier in Paracas.

Upon arrival, we will embark on a boat tour of the Ballestas Islands, where we will see the Candelabra geoglyph and a variety of wildlife including Inca terns, seabirds, Humboldt penguins, and sea lions. The tour will last approximately two hours.

Next, we will return to El Chaco pier for free time for breakfast or a stroll before visiting the Paracas National Reserve. The itinerary includes stops at the viewpoints of La Catedral, Punta Santa María, and Playa Roja, as well as Lagunilla Beach for lunch on your own and La Mina Beach.

We will return to Ica at 16:30.

Options

You may enhance your experience with the following options:

Paracas National Reserve by minibuggy

This option includes a two-hour tour of the Paracas National Reserve in minibuggies, accommodating two people each. After the tour, enjoy free time for lunch at El Chaco pier before returning to Ica at 4:30 pm.

Paracas National Reserve by quad

This option follows the same itinerary but utilizes quads for the two-hour reserve tour. Note that each quad accommodates one person, though children aged 5 and older may ride with parents.

Pickup

The tour includes pickup from hotels in the center of Ica. For those staying at distant hotels, pickup will be at Plaza de Armas in Ica.
