Ballestas Islands & Paracas National Reserve Day Trip

Between 6 and 7 am, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Ica and depart for the El Chaco pier in Paracas.

Upon arrival at the embarkation point, we'll start a boat tour of the Ballestas Islands. The journey will pass by notable sites including the Candelabra, a geoglyph measuring nearly 560 feet (170 meters). The tour lasts approximately two hours, and you'll observe a variety of wildlife, including Inca terns, boobies, seagulls, pelicans, red-legged cormorants, turkey vultures, Humboldt penguins, and sea lions.

Afterward, we'll return to El Chaco pier for free time for breakfast or a stroll, before heading to the Paracas National Reserve. We will visit the viewpoints of La Catedral, Punta Santa María, and Playa Roja, with a stop at Lagunilla Beach for lunch on your own, followed by La Mina Beach.

Finally, we'll return to Ica by 4:30 pm.

Options

You can enhance your experience with the following options:

Paracas National Reserve by minibuggy

This option allows you to drive minibuggies for two hours through the Paracas National Reserve. Each minibuggy accommodates up to two people. After the tour, enjoy free time for lunch at El Chaco pier before returning to Ica at 4:30 pm.

Paracas National Reserve by quad

Alternatively, you can explore the Paracas National Reserve for two hours by quad. Note that only one person can drive, although children over 5 may ride with parents.

Pickup

This tour includes pickup from hotels in the center of Ica. For hotels located far from the city (e.g., Hotel Hacienda San Juan, Viñas Queirolo, Hotel La Caravedo, Hotel Bodega El Huarango), pickup will be at Plaza de Armas in Ica.
