Ballestas Islands & Paracas National Reserve Full-Day Tour

Starting between 6 and 7 am, you will be collected from your hotel in Ica and transported to the El Chaco pier in Paracas.

Upon arrival at this departure point, you will board a boat to explore the Ballestas Islands. During this tour, you will navigate the Pacific Ocean while passing notable sights, including the renowned Candelabra, a mysterious geoglyph that stretches nearly 560 feet (170 meters).

This approximately two-hour journey allows for a chance to observe a diverse range of wildlife, such as Inca terns, boobies, seagulls, pelicans, red-legged cormorants, and turkey vultures. You may also spot Humboldt penguins and sea lions during the excursion!

After the boat tour, we will return to the El Chaco pier, granting you some leisure time for breakfast or a leisurely walk. Next, our journey will take us to the Paracas National Reserve, where we will visit various viewpoints, including La Catedral, Punta Santa María, and Playa Roja. Additionally, there will be a stop at Lagunilla Beach, where you can have lunch independently, and at La Mina Beach.

We are scheduled to arrive back in Ica at around 4:30 pm.

Exploring Paracas National Reserve by Minibuggy

Selecting this add-on allows you to navigate through the Paracas National Reserve in minibuggies. You will have the opportunity to drive through this remarkable landscape for a duration of two hours, with each minibuggy accommodating up to two participants.

Once the tour concludes, you will enjoy leisure time for lunch at El Chaco pier, before we proceed with the return journey to Ica at 4:30 pm.

Exploring Paracas National Reserve by Quad

This option follows a similar route to the minibuggy experience, with the difference being that you will explore the Paracas National Reserve for two hours via quad. Please be advised that you will need to operate the quad, which is designed for a single rider. Children may accompany their parents but must be at least 5 years old to participate.

Pickup Details

The tour includes pickup from central hotels in Ica. If you are staying at a location further from the city (such as Hotel Hacienda San Juan, Viñas Queirolo, Hotel La Caravedo, Hotel Bodega El Huarango, among others), you will be collected from Plaza de Armas in Ica.

Important: Minibuggy Information

Each minibuggy accommodates two individuals. For bookings with an odd number of participants (3, 5, 7, etc.), an additional fee of 22.50 USD will apply to cover the individual use of a vehicle, payable on the date of the activity.
