Ballestas Islands & Paracas National Reserve Day Trip

Between 6 and 7 am, pickup from your hotel in Ica will occur, followed by departure to the El Chaco pier in Paracas.

Upon arrival, a boat tour of the Ballestas Islands will commence. During this two-hour voyage, you'll see notable sites like the Candelabra geoglyph, spanning nearly 560 feet (170 meters), and observe various native wildlife, including Inca terns, pelicans, Humboldt penguins, and sea lions.

The boat tour concludes with a return to El Chaco pier, offering free time for breakfast or a stroll before proceeding to the Paracas National Reserve. Highlights include viewpoints at La Catedral, Punta Santa María, and Playa Roja, with a stop at Lagunilla Beach for lunch and La Mina Beach.

Return to Ica is scheduled for 4:30 pm.

Paracas National Reserve by minibuggy

This option involves a two-hour tour of the Paracas National Reserve in minibuggies. Each vehicle accommodates up to two people. Post-tour, enjoy free time for lunch at El Chaco pier before returning to Ica at 4:30 pm.

Paracas National Reserve by quad

This option follows the same itinerary but involves a two-hour tour by quad. Each quad accommodates one person, and children may ride with parents if at least 5 years old.

Pickup

The tour includes pickup from hotels in central Ica. For hotels outside the city, pickup will be at Plaza de Armas in Ica.

Important: Minibuggy

Each minibuggy holds 2 people. For odd-numbered bookings (3, 5, 7, etc.), a supplementary fee of 22.50 USD for individual vehicle use must be paid on-site.
