Ballestas Islands, Tambo Colorado & Moron Lagoon Tour

At 6:30 am we'll pick you up at your hotel in Ica, and travel by road to El Chaco dock in the bay of Paracas. A boat will be waiting for us to take us to the Ballestas Islands for a panoramic tour.

During the boat tour, we will see colonies of sea lions and various birds, including Humboldt penguins, waders, boobies, seagulls, and pelicans. We will also view the Candelabro de Paracas, a geoglyph that is around 2500 years old.

After the tour, we will return by bus to visit the archaeological site of Tambo Colorado, a significant Inca settlement known for its adobe structures. We will explore its three sectors, including La Fortaleza.

Next, we will head to the lagoon of Morón in Humay, famous for its blue-green waters. You will have free time for swimming, sandboarding, and lunch at local restaurants.

We will conclude our excursion in Ica, returning to the Plaza de Armas between 6:30 pm and 7:30 pm.

Weather conditions

This activity is subject to weather conditions. If the weather does not permit the indicated itinerary, we will visit the White Islands and the Paracas National Reserve instead.
