Explore the magnificent Peruvian desert on this day trip from Ica to discover the Canyon of the Lost, one of Peru's hidden wonders!

Canyon of the Lost Day Trip

Between 6 and 7 am, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Ica and head south.

We'll first stop at the main square of Plaza de Armas in Ocucaje, where we'll see the monuments of the shark, the farmer and the fighting cocks.

Then, we'll stop at a local restaurant for breakfast and snacks for the road.

Afterward, we'll set off for Cañón de los Perdidos. The first stop will be at a viewpoint for impressive views of this geological formation.

We'll continue our tour by visiting the natural sanctuary of Cañón de los Perdidos. After learning how it was formed, you'll have time to take pictures outside the mouth of the canyon. We'll also stroll along the mouth of the canyon, where we may see native fauna such as owls, black vultures, and lizards.

Before concluding our time here, you'll enjoy lunch at a local restaurant and visit a local winery to sample products like pisco, wine made from pisco, and cream of pisco.

Finally, we'll return to Ica, with arrival at the main square scheduled between 3 and 4 pm.

Pickup

This tour includes pickup from hotels in the center of Ica. If you're staying in a hotel far from the city (such as Hotel Hacienda San Juan, Viñas Queirolo, Hotel La Caravedo, Hotel Bodega El Huarango), we'll pick you up at Plaza de Armas in Ica.
