Flight over the Nazca Lines from the Nazca Aerodrome

Description

We'll start our journey from your hotel in Ica, heading south early in the morning. After approximately two hours of driving, we will arrive at the Aerodromo de Nazca for an unforgettable experience.

The flight will be conducted in a light aircraft with a capacity for 6 passengers and 2 crew members. Each passenger will have an individual seat with panoramic windows, ensuring you don't miss a detail of the condor, the spider, the monkey, the hummingbird, and other geoglyphs that make up the renowned Nazca Lines.

As you soar above these ancient designs, you will learn about their creation and significance. The flight lasts 35 minutes, after which you will land at the same airport and return to your hotel in Ica. To commemorate your experience, a flight certificate will be provided. You'll also have free time for lunch at a restaurant in downtown Nazca before being dropped off in Ica at 3:30 pm.

Flight+ Aqueducts + Maria Reiche Museum

If you're seeking a more comprehensive experience, this option includes a visit to the Cantalloc aqueducts and the Maria Reiche Museum. We will pick you up at your hotel in Ica at 7 am and first visit the Maria Reiche Museum. At 9 am, we will begin a guided tour discussing the life of this pivotal German woman who dedicated her life to studying and conserving the Nazca Lines in the 1950s.

Following the museum, at 10:30 am, we will head to the airfield for our 35-minute flight over the Nazca Lines. After landing and receiving your flight certificate, we will head to the Cantalloc aqueducts, which have been extracting underground water for over 1,000 years.

You will then have time to have lunch in a local restaurant before we regroup and return to Ica, arriving by 5 pm.

This activity includes pickup from hotels in Ica. If your accommodation is outside Ica, please make your own way to the meeting point at Calle Las Palmeras.

Schedule

The flight schedule in Nazca may be affected by weather conditions, and some days may experience flight delays due to fog. However, we assure you that the flight will always proceed once the fog clears.
