Huacachina Dune Buggy & Sandboarding Tour

After hotel pickup in Ica at 3:30 pm, you will be taken to the Huacachina desert, located just outside Ica. Your guide will share the history of the famous Huacachina Oasis before starting the buggy adventure through the desert, where you can photograph its natural landscapes. You will see the peaks of the Peruvian Andes on the horizon as you ascend the dunes.

Subsequently, there is a stop for sandboarding, a prominent activity in the desert, where you can surf down the dunes on a special board. After the sandboarding, the tour will take you back to the Huacachina lagoon, concluding with a drop-off at your hotel in Ica by 6:30 pm.

Pickup

Select the "Tour with pickup" option only if you are staying in hotels located in the center of Ica, as pickup is unavailable for hotels outside this area. If you are staying elsewhere, select "Tour without pickup" and arrive at the El Bamboo Hotel at the Huacachina Oasis by 3:45 pm. This option will finish at 6 pm.

Reduction of activity time

This activity usually lasts 2 hours. However, on special dates, it may be reduced to 45 minutes or 1 hour:
