Want to learn how to sandboard or sand ski? This course in the Ica desert is perfect to test your skills by sliding down huge sand dunes.

Ica Desert Sandboarding or Sand Skiing Course

After meeting at the Huacachina oasis, the instructor will give a brief talk on how to use the equipment. Participants will learn how to sandboard or sand ski.

Following a half-hour of theory, the group will board a buggy to head out into the Ica desert. The trip will include a journey through the dunes to the practical lesson location. Participants can choose to learn either sandboarding or sand skiing.

Once at the site, participants will use boards or skis and glide across the dunes for an hour and a half, ascending and descending the sandy mountains of the Ica desert.

After the activity, participants will return to the buggies that will take them back to the starting point in Huacachina, concluding two hours of activity.
