At the agreed time, our journey begins with your pickup from the designated meeting point, initiating a thorough exploration of the city's noteworthy sights and those in its vicinity. Are you prepared for an adventure?
This tour artfully blends walking segments with minibus rides, ensuring an extensive experience of the charming city, famous for its pisco.
Our first destination is the 7-headed palm tree, a remarkable natural wonder steeped in captivating history. Close by, we shall visit the mystical village of Cachiche, historically renowned for its association with witches. Here, we will delve into the intriguing tales and legends surrounding these ancient practitioners.
Subsequently, we will stroll through the historic center of Ica, where the Plaza de Armas awaits. This notable square holds historical significance as the site of Peru's first declaration of independence. Flanking the plaza, we'll behold beautiful colonial-style mansions and key architectural landmarks that define the city.
Before departing the historic center, a visit to the Señor de Luren sanctuary will be on our itinerary, celebrated for its importance in Ica’s religious heritage. We’ll then proceed to the Nietto winery, where you’ll gain insights into the wine-making process integral to Ica, along with the production of its renowned pisco. Here, you will have the opportunity to taste the exquisite offerings from this winery.
Our next stop will be the stunning Huacachina Lagoon, a serene oasis embraced by towering sand dunes. Amidst the aridity of the desert, you’ll be captivated by the verdant palm trees and the striking contrast of the emerald waters of the lagoon. Recognized as one of the most picturesque desert settings in the world, it's easy to see why it is referred to as the Oasis of America.
After a duration of 3.5 hours, we’ll conclude our tour with your return to the original meeting point.
