In the archaeological tour through the valley of Palpa, we'll explore geoglyphs, petroglyphs, and other attractions related to the region's history of over 5000 years.

Palpa Archaeological Tour

We will pick you up from your hotel in Ica at 7 am to begin the archaeological route through the Palpa Valley.

The first stop will be at the Huarango Milenario, a tree over 1000 years old. Following this, we will travel to the district of Rio Grande to view the Perfil del Inca, a rock formation at the foot of the Andes.

The tour will then continue towards Palpa, where we will see the Solar Clock, a site featuring lines and geoglyphs. We will enter Palpa to visit the main square and the Museum of Palpa, displaying a variety of archaeological pieces from pre-Inca settlements.

After Palpa, we will drive east to see the petroglyphs of Chichictara and the geoglyphs of the Paracas Royal Family, ancient geometric drawings similar to the Nazca lines.

The final stop will be at the La Máquina spring, formed by a geological fault. Here, enjoy free time for swimming and lunch at nearby restaurants.

We will return to Ica, arriving between 5 pm and 6 pm.
