Description
Curious about Peru's most iconic flavors and beverages? Join us to uncover these delights on our tour! Following a pick-up from your Ica hotel, we will embark on a journey through local bodegas and vineyards.
As part of the tour, we will visit three different wineries. Our adventure begins at the Nietto winery, where we will learn how the celebrated wines and piscos are crafted, all while savoring a delightful tasting experience.
So, what is pisco? It is recognized as one of Peru's national spirits, a type of grape brandy that enjoys global acclaim.
We will then continue our exploration at El Catador winery, where we will observe a vintage wine press and the sizable fermenting vats filled with crushed grape juice. To complete this visit, a tasting of their pisco, wines, and creams awaits us.
The final destination will be the Lazzo winery, which features a museum dedicated to the history of pisco from this family of producers. Here, we will also uncover the various grape varieties utilized in the pisco-making process and the unique qualities they impart. Plus, enjoy another opportunity to taste their wines and pisco. Cheers to that!
After a journey of two and a half hours, we will conclude the tour and return you to your hotel in Ica.
