Porto Flavia Mine Guided Tour

On this guided tour of the Porto Flavia mines, you'll learn about a significant mining site in southern Sardinia, complemented by views of Masua Beach.

Tour Description

We will meet at the Porto Cauli Beach car park at the scheduled time, beginning our journey to the Porto Flavia mine.

The walk will take us along Masua Beach and the historic 1915 pier, located about one kilometer from the mining site. Prepare to explore this unique mining site with Mediterranean views.

Entering the main mine shaft, the guided tour lasts approximately one hour, during which the guide will discuss the mine's economic impact and construction details.

Halfway through the tour, we will ascend to a balcony with views of the sea and the Sugarloaf Isle (Pan di Zucchero), ideal for photographs.

After concluding our tour of the Porto Flavia mine, we will return to the starting point, completing the experience in 2.5 hours.
