Porto Flavia Mine Guided Tour

On this guided tour of the Porto Flavia mines, you'll learn about one of the notable mining sites in southern Sardinia, accompanied by views of Masua Beach.

Tour Description

At the designated time, we'll meet in the Porto Cauli Beach car park to begin our journey towards the Porto Flavia mine, an interesting location in Sardinia.

We'll walk along Masua Beach and the old 1915 pier, located approximately one kilometer from the mining site, before reaching our destination. Prepare to explore this unique mining site with views of the Mediterranean.

Upon entering the main mine shaft, we'll walk for about an hour with a tour guide, who will explain the mine's impact on the local economy and share facts about its construction.

Halfway through our guided tour, we'll climb up a balcony for views of the sea and the nearby Sugarloaf Isle (Pan di Zucchero). This area provides an excellent opportunity for photographs.

After completing the tour of the Porto Flavia mine, we'll return to our starting point and conclude the experience after 2 and a half hours.
