NAUI Open Water Diving Course in Ilhabela

The NAUI Open Water Diver course in Ilhabela offers the opportunity to become an autonomous diver in just 4 days or 2 weekends. The training consists of 16 hours of theoretical and practical instruction.

Day 1: Theory

On the first day, students learn essential diving concepts either virtually over 4 days or in-person in Ilhabela in 1 day.

Day 2: Confined Waters Practice & Test

Practice in confined waters in the morning followed by a practical test in the afternoon at the dive center's pool.

Days 3 & 4: Open Water Dives

Day 3 involves 2 dives at 59 ft in the open water, with 2 more dives on day 4. Upon completion and approval from the instructor, students receive the NAUI Open Water international certificate.
