NAUI Open Water Diving Course in Ilhabela

You can do the NAUI Open Water diving course in 4 consecutive days or split it up into 2 weekends. The training includes a theoretical and a practical part, with both lasting 16 hours.

Day 1: Theory

The first day focuses on learning the basic concepts that a good diver should have. Theory classes can be attended virtually for 4 days (4 hours per day) or in person at the dive center in Ilhabela, where everything will be taught in 1 day.

Day 2: Confined Waters Practice & Test

In the morning, we'll practice in the dive center's pool in confined waters. In the afternoon, you'll demonstrate your skills in a practical test.

Days 3 & 4: Open Water Dives

On the third day, we'll conduct 2 dives at 59 ft (18 meters) in open water. On the fourth day, we'll perform 2 more dives. If your instructor believes you are ready, you will receive the NAUI Open Water international certificate, enabling you to dive anywhere without a professional diver.
