Description
Between 8 and 8:40, we'll pick you up at your hotel, and at 9, we'll begin this guided tour of Ilhéus, a city known for its beaches and its historical and cultural heritage. On this tour, we'll visit key locations that inspired Jorge Amado, including the Vesúvio bar and the Bataclan cabaret, featured in Gabriela, Cravo e Canela.
We'll see the Cathedral of San Sebastian, admiring its neoclassical facade and visiting Jorge Amado's House of Culture for insights into the writer's life.
Our final stop will be at the mansion of Colonel Misael Tavares, known as the King of Cocoa, where we will discuss his significance and the role of cocoa in the region.
After four hours, we will conclude the tour and return you to your hotel.
