Nature and colonial architecture merge in a place that has a lot to offer. On this guided tour of Ilhéus, we'll explore the main attractions in the city.

Description

Between 8 and 8:40, we'll pick you up at your hotel, and at 9, we'll begin this guided tour of Ilhéus, a city famous for its beaches and its rich historical and cultural heritage.

This tour includes visits to significant sites, including locations that inspired the writer Jorge Amado, such as the Vesúvio bar and the Bataclan cabaret, featured in Amado's work Gabriela, Cravo e Canela. We'll see the Cathedral of San Sebastian and visit Jorge Amado's House of Culture to learn about the writer's life.

Our last stop will be at the mansion of Colonel Misael Tavares, known as the King of Cocoa, where we'll discuss his significance and cocoa's role in the region.

The tour lasts four hours, concluding with your return to your hotel.
