Description
Your day will start between 8 and 8:40 when we will collect you from your hotel. The guided tour is set to commence at 9 AM, taking you through the beautiful city of Ilhéus, renowned for its stunning beaches and vibrant cultural and historical legacy.
Ilhéus served as a muse for the renowned author Jorge Amado. Throughout our journey, we will visit notable locations featured in his literary works, including the iconic Vesúvio bar and the famed Bataclan cabaret, celebrated in the romantic narrative of Amado's Gabriela, Cravo e Canela.
We will admire the impressive Cathedral of San Sebastian, taking a moment to appreciate its neoclassical design. Our visit will also include Jorge Amado's House of Culture, where you will gain insights into the life and contributions of this illustrious writer.
As we wrap up our exploration, we will stop at the estate of Colonel Misael Tavares, also known as the King of Cocoa. Here, we will share fascinating stories about his life and the significance of cocoa in the local economy.
