Description
Between 8 and 8:40, we'll pick you up at your hotel, and at 9, we'll start the guided tour of Ilhéus, known for its beaches and historical heritage.
Ilhéus inspired the writer Jorge Amado. On this tour, we'll visit spots featured in his works, such as the Vesúvio bar and the Bataclan cabaret, known from the romance Amado Gabriela, Cravo e Canela.
We'll see the Cathedral of San Sebastian and visit Jorge Amado's House of Culture to learn about the writer's life.
Our last stop will be the mansion of Colonel Misael Tavares, the King of Cocoa. Outside, we'll share details about this person and the significance of cocoa in the region.
After four hours, we'll conclude the tour by returning you to your hotel.
