Damajagua Waterfalls Buggy Tour

On the Damajagua Waterfalls Buggy Tour, we will meet at 8 am at the Damajagua River Visitor Centre. After a brief instruction by a professional instructor, we will drive in buggies to explore the Damajagua Waterfalls and the southern area of Puerto Plata.

The tour includes a high-speed journey through palm groves, farmland, and villages along Dominican jungle trails. We will stop to enjoy fresh coconut drinks, cocktails, or beer, and take dips in river beaches.

We will cover between 6 and 9 miles (10 to 15 kilometers) to reach the 27 Damajagua Waterfalls, visiting several panoramic viewpoints for optimal views. After a buffet lunch at a local restaurant, we will continue our buggy drive through communities such as Bellaco along the Bajabonico River, where we can pick fruits, and then visit Bajabonico Arriba, Palmar Grande, and Los Felix to observe the locals' way of life.

After a final swim in the Bajabonico River, we will return to the starting point, concluding the tour at 2 pm.
