Snowshoeing in Inari is an opportunity to explore the area's natural wealth and observe wildlife in the Sapmi region.

Description

We'll meet at Ivalontie 12 and wait for a vehicle that will transport us to the Inari area, known for its significance in Sami culture in Sapmi and natural beauty. This is your opportunity to explore it.

Upon arrival, we will equip ourselves and head into the snowy landscape of Inari for a snowshoe hike. Using walking poles, we'll journey deep into the forest, experiencing tranquility and untouched snow.

The animal footprints we find will be from local wildlife such as grouse, reindeer, or moose grazing. Remain alert for sightings during our hike in snowshoes in Inari.

When we pause for lunch, we will visit a local restaurant to enjoy a soup (meat, fish, or vegetable) and a dessert.

We'll conclude our tour by returning along our route and boarding the vehicle for our ride back to Ivalo, with an expected return to the meeting point five hours after the hike begins.

Included

  • Transport by car
  • English–speaking guide
  • Rental of snowshoes, walking poles, gloves and snowboots
