Snowshoeing in Inari offers an opportunity to explore the area's natural wealth and observe wildlife in the Sapmi region.

Description

We will meet at Ivalontie 12, where a vehicle will transport us to the Inari area, known for its Sami culture and natural surroundings. Upon arrival, we will equip ourselves and embark on a snowshoe hike through the snowy landscape of Inari. Using walking poles, we will venture into the forest to experience the tranquility and pristine snow. The only footprints visible will belong to local wildlife.

During the snowshoe hike in Inari, there may be opportunities to spot grouse, reindeer, or moose. A lunch break will be taken at a local restaurant, featuring a soup option, which may include meat, fish, or vegetables, along with a dessert.

We will conclude the tour by retracing our steps back to the hike's starting point, where we will return by vehicle to Ivalo. The expected return to the meeting point is five hours after the beginning of the hike.

Included

  • Transport by car
