Alpenzoo Entrance Ticket + Innsbruck Cable Car

This ticket grants access to the Alpenzoo, featuring alpine species including bears, wolves, elks, bison, snakes, and tortoises, totaling up to 150 different species. The zoo is recognized for its conservation efforts, particularly in preserving endangered species such as the Alpine ibex, the bearded vulture, and the northern bald ibis. Additionally, it contains the world's largest freshwater aquarium, showcasing various fish species like bream and pike.

Innsbruck-Hungerburg Cable Car

The funicular from Innsbruck to Hungerburg reaches the Alpenzoo station in a few minutes. Board at Rennweg to access this transportation method. The ticket also allows riding up to the Hungerburg station, which features a design by architect Zaha Hadid. The view of the river Eno from the top is notable.

Timetable

Innsbruck-Hungerburg Cable Car: Operates Monday to Friday from 7:15 am to 7:15 pm, and Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays from 8 am to 7:15 pm, with departures every 15 minutes. The stop for Alpenzoo is Alps Zoo, located between Innsbruck and Hungerburg.Alpenzoo: Open November to March from 9 am to 5 pm, and April to October from 9 am to 6 pm.
