Innsbruck City Tower Entrance

The City Tower, dating back to 1450, was originally used for warning against dangers in the Middle Ages. Visitors can climb 133 steps to reach the top and enjoy views of the Bergisel and Patscherkofel mountains, the Nordkette mountain range, and the Eno River. Notable monuments visible from the tower include the Helbling House, the medieval Katzunghaus, and the Golden Roof, where the emperor observed festivals.
