Innsbruck City Tower Entrance
If you're in Innsbruck and seeking panoramic views, visit the City Tower. This ticket allows you to climb 133 steps to appreciate the surroundings of the Austrian town at a height of 31 metres.
This watchtower, built in 1450, was used to warn of dangers during the Middle Ages. The dome reaches over 50 metres high, representing the Tyrolean capital's skyline. Historically, lower floors functioned as a prison.
From the top, you can see the Bergisel and Patscherkofel mountains, the Nordkette mountain range, and the Eno river. Additionally, notable sites include the Helbling House, the medieval Katzunghaus, and the Golden Roof, where the emperor observed festivals.
