Innsbruck City Tower Entrance
If you're in Innsbruck and seeking the best panoramic views, the City Tower is essential. This ticket allows you to climb 133 steps to appreciate the surroundings of the Austrian town at a height of 31 metres. This watchtower, dating back to 1450, served as a warning system against dangers during the Middle Ages. The dome is over 50 metres high, a notable feature of the Tyrolean capital's skyline. The lower floors were used as a prison.
From the top, views include the Bergisel and Patscherkofel mountains, the Nordkette mountain range, and the Eno River. You will also see significant landmarks such as the Helbling House, the medieval Katzunghaus, and the Golden Roof, where the emperor observed festivals.
