Nordkette Cable Car Ticket

With the Nordkette cable car ticket, you will experience stunning views starting from the first station, Hungerburg, at 304 metres, where you can admire the Innsbruck skyline. Continuing to Seegrube at nearly 2,000 metres, you may see the Austrian-Italian border and gorges if the weather is clear. There are trails for exploring local endemic vegetation. The funicular railway will then take you to Hafelekar, the highest point of the mountain range, offering views of the Karwendel mountains.

The opening times of the Nordkette funicular stations are as follows:

Innsbruck station: Daily from 8:15 am to 7 pm, departures every 15 minutes.Hungerburg station: Monday to Friday from 7:15 am to 7:15 pm; Saturday, Sunday, public holidays from 8 am to 6:30 pm, departures every 15 minutes.Seegrube station: Daily from 8:30 am to 6:30 pm, departures every 15 minutes.Hafelekar station: Daily from 9 am to 6 pm, departures every 15 minutes.

From October to May:

Innsbruck station: Daily from 8:15 am to 7 pm, departures every 15 minutes.Hungerburg station: Monday to Friday from 7:15 am to 7:15 pm; Saturday, Sunday, public holidays from 8 am to 7:15 pm, departures every 15 minutes.Seegrube Station: Daily from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm, departures every 15 minutes.Hafelekar Station: Daily from 9 am to 6 pm, departures every 15 minutes.
