3-Day Highlands & Isle of Skye Tour

On this 3-day tour of the Highlands and the Isle of Skye, we will explore the landscapes of northern Scotland and ride the Harry Potter train.

3-Day Highlands & Isle of Skye Tour

Day 1: Inverness - Loch Ness - Harry Potter Train - Isle of Skye

The tour begins at 15 Union Street in Inverness. Our first destination is Loch Ness, known for Nessie the Monster. We will then visit Urquhart Castle for panoramic views of the loch.

Next, we will stop at the Commando Monument and see Ben Nevis. Afterward, we will reach Fort William to board the Jacobite train, also known as the Harry Potter train. The journey features views of the Highland landscapes and the Scottish west coast.

Upon arriving in Mallaig, you will have free time for lunch, then ride a ferry to the Isle of Skye. In Portree, you can relax at the hotel. Note: From April 14 to 27, the trip will be by bus instead of ferry.

Day 2: Isle of Skye

After breakfast, we will visit the Fairy Pools, then proceed to Dunvegan for lunch. The exploration continues at Quiraing and the Kilt Rock waterfall, then to the Old Man of Storr.

In the afternoon, we will return to Portree for personal exploration of this charming fishing village.

Day 3: Portree - Eilean Donan Castle - Culloden - Inverness

After breakfast, we will head to Eilean Donan Castle before traveling to Beauly for lunch. Following this, we will visit a whisky distillery and the Battle of Culloden grounds, concluding with Clava Cairns.

The tour returns to Inverness in the early afternoon.

Accommodation

The tour includes 2 nights in a double room with breakfast at a B&B style hotel in Portree.
