Inverness Walking Tour
Join the Inverness Walking Tour to explore key attractions in the capital of the Scottish Highlands. We will meet at the appointed time on the High Street to commence our guided tour.
This tour highlights Inverness's historical significance, including its transformation from a royal city through the Jacobite uprisings and castle sieges to its current vibrant community. Our first stop will be Inverness Castle, a red sandstone fortress established in 1836.
Next, we will visit St. Andrew's Cathedral, the main religious structure of the city, noted for its impressive façade reminiscent of Notre Dame de Paris.
We will also stroll along the banks of the Loch Ness River, where we will hear about the legend of the Loch Ness Monster, the area’s famous myth.
The tour concludes at the Old High Church, the oldest church in Inverness, wrapping up the experience after 1 hour 30 minutes of exploration.
