We'll meet at the appointed time at Number 60 High Street and start our guided tour of Inverness, the capital of the Scottish Highlands.
Did you know that it's one of the cities with the best quality of life in the UK? Once you discover all that Inverness has to offer, you won't want to leave this charming town. We'll begin our walk through the main streets of Inverness, learning about its exciting history.
From its humble beginnings as a royal city, through the Jacobite uprisings and castle sieges, to the modern-day life of its inhabitants. We'll stop at Inverness Castle, a red sandstone fortress built in 1836.
The tour will continue to St. Andrew's Cathedral, the main religious building of the Scottish city. We'll contemplate its imposing façade, similar to that of Notre Dame de Paris.
We can't forget the area's most famous neighbour, the Loch Ness Monster. We'll walk along the banks of the Loch Ness River while we listen to the legend of this peculiar inhabitant.
Finally, we'll see the Old High Church, the oldest church in the town. We'll say goodbye to the picturesque image of the church and its grounds after 1 hour and 30 minutes of sightseeing.
