John o' Groats Day Trip

After meeting at Railway Terrace, you'll board your bus for your excursion to the northernmost town in Great Britain: John o' Groats.

The first stop will be Loch Fleet, a sea loch and nature reserve. Here, you can observe various birds and seals. Next, you'll visit the village of Golspie to stretch your legs and enjoy views of North Sea beaches.

Just outside of Golspie, you'll stop at Dunrobin Castle, known for its Scottish Baronial and French Renaissance architecture. You may explore the castle’s rooms, gardens, and a museum.

Continuing north, you'll arrive at Wick, an old Viking settlement, where you will have free time to explore the historic centre and enjoy a typical lunch (not included) while taking in views of Wick Bay.

After lunch, you'll drive for another half an hour to John o' Groats, famous for its coastal views. Stroll along the seafront cliffs and enjoy panoramic views, with the possibility of seeing Atlantic puffins, grey seals, and orcas.

After your time in John o' Groats, you will return to Inverness, making brief stops at Dunbeath port and Brora for photos. You will complete your 11-hour tour back in Inverness.
