Loch Ness and the Highlands Trip

Experience the stunning scenery of Scotland with a day trip to Loch Ness and the Highlands, departing from Railway Terrace in Inverness. Travel along the Caledonia Canal to Loch Ness, known for its beauty and the legend of the Loch Ness Monster.

The first stop is Dochgarroch, where you can take a boat ride on the Loch to Urquhart Castle, a 13th-century ruin. After the ride, you have free time to explore the castle and enjoy views of the lake.

Your journey continues to Invermoriston, where you'll have a brief break to photograph the Thomas Telford Bridge and the River Moriston waterfalls, as well as St Columba’s Well, known for its interesting history.

The tour then leads to Fort Augustus, where a guide will show you the village and its canal activity. Here, you can also enjoy a local meal.

After lunch, the return trip to Inverness includes a stop at the 165-foot Falls of Foyers for a chance to relax in a scenic area. The final stop is in the village of Dores, where you will walk along the east shore of the lake.

Return to the meeting point is scheduled between 8 and 9 hours after departure, concluding the tour.
