Loch Ness and the Highlands Trip
After meeting in the morning at Railway Terrace in Inverness, participants will board a comfortable vehicle to follow the Caledonian Canal to Loch Ness. The first stop is Dochgarroch, offering a boat ride on the Loch to the ruins of Urquhart Castle, where free time is provided to explore and enjoy panoramic views.
Next, the tour proceeds to Invermoriston for a brief photo stop at the Thomas Telford bridge over the River Moriston waterfalls. Visitors will also see St Columba’s Well and learn about its history. The journey continues to Fort Augustus, where guests can view the Caledonian canal and enjoy a local meal.
After the meal, the return journey to Inverness includes a stop at the 165-foot Falls of Foyers for stretching legs and enjoying the surroundings. The final stop is the village of Dores, where a walk along the lake's east shore offers scenic views.
