Pasto Tour

On this tour through the Colombian department of Nariño, we will proceed from Ipiales to Pasto, known for its carnival, handicrafts, and traditional ice cream.

Pasto Tour

We will depart at 2 pm from Santander Park in Ipiales towards Pasto, an Andean municipality in Nariño.

Upon arrival, we will conduct a tour of Pasto, focusing on its main Catholic churches. Notable visits will include the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart and the churches of San Juan and La Merced, along with the Plaza de Nariño, central to the historic centre.

Next, we will visit the Carnival Museum, which features a large collection of costumes from a major local festivity. Additionally, we will tour a varnish workshop to observe the artisans' techniques recognized as Cultural Heritage of Colombia.

After the workshop, we will stop at a local venue to sample traditional artisan ice cream from Pasto, accompanied by a hot cup of Nariño coffee to conclude our tour.

We will then return to Ipiales, where we expect to arrive at 10 pm.
