Iquique Guided Tour

The capital of the Chilean region of Tarapacá enchants all who visit. On our guided tour of Iquique, you'll visit the city's most iconic spots and admire extraordinary views from Dragon Hill.

Iquique Guided Tour

Between 9 and 10 am, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Iquique and drive to the southern part of the city. Our first stop will be the Bajo Molle area, where we'll learn about its history of whaling. Next, we'll visit Dragon Hill, known for Iquique's famous sand dunes. After taking in the views, we will continue to the beach on the Cavancha Peninsula.

We will then pass the Centenary Market, Santa Maria School, and other notable locations in Iquique's historic centre. A stop at Prat Square will allow us to see the iconic Clock Tower, which has been operational since 1877.

Near Prat Square, we will find the Riquelme fishermen's cove and Prat Pier. An optional boat trip around Iquique Bay is available. During this time, we will also see a replica of the corvette Esmeralda, a military ship that sank during the Pacific War.

The tour will conclude in the Marinero area and the Zofri shopping centre, where you can choose to shop or return to your hotel, arriving back by 3 pm.
