Isluga Volcano National Park Day Trip
At 6:30 am, we will pick you up from your hotel in Iquique for our journey north to the Isluga Volcano National Park.
We will first stop at Unita Hill to see the geoglyph of the Giant of Tarapacá and discuss its significance. Next, we will visit the Chusmiza viewpoint, where you can acclimatize to the altitude while enjoying views of the fertile valley and the Andean mountains.
The tour continues to the Puchildiza Geysers, where you will observe hot water and steam jets. We will also visit Colchane, Mauque, and other villages near the park.
You will learn about Ayamara culture from local residents. A break for lunch will be at a restaurant in the park, featuring three dishes of local cuisine.
After lunch, we will explore more of the park until we reach the village of Enquelga, where you can enjoy the open-air hot springs.
Feeling revitalized, we will return you to your hotel in Iquique, arriving by 9 pm.
