Amazon 2 Day Tour

Day 1

Departure from Iquitos at 9 am. We will head to the Amazon River, then board a boat to explore the rainforest. Witness the unique color-changing waters at the Nanay River and, if fortunate, spot pink dolphins.

Visit a lizard farm to learn about the piaches, a fish that can reach up to 10 ft long. At around 1:30 pm, arrive at our lodge on the Amazon River, where we will rest and enjoy a full menu.

At 3 pm, visit the native Yagua people to learn about their agricultural, fishing, and hunting practices, with a guide available for questions. Return to the lodge by 5 pm for dinner and take a night walk to listen to the sounds of wildlife before spending the night in the jungle.

Day 2

Leave the lodge early for a sunrise experience in the Amazon around 5 am. Observe exotic birds, including the scarlet macaw. Enjoy a delicious breakfast and visit the serpentarium, home to snakes, sloths, ocelots, turtles, and parrots, while sampling drinks made from medicinal plants.

Return to the lodge at 12:30 pm before lunch. At 2:30 pm, board a boat back to Iquitos, arriving around 4:30 pm.
