Take yourself far from the modern world when you take this amazing 2-day tour of the Amazon. You will discover animal species and spend the night in a comfortable lodge in the jungle.

Amazon 2 Day Tour

Day 1

We will depart from Iquitos at 9 am heading to the banks of the Amazon, the largest river in the world. We will board a boat for a trip through the dense rainforest. Along the way, witness a variety of wildlife and plants.

Arriving at the Nanay River, observe the waters constantly changing color. If fortunate, we may see pink dolphins.

The tour continues at the lizard farm, where we will see piaches. This fish can reach up to 10 ft long.

Around 1:30 pm, we will arrive at our two-story lodge made from jungle materials. After resting, we will enjoy a complete menu.

At 3 pm, we will visit the Yagua people who rely on agriculture, fishing, and hunting. Our guide will provide insights into their lifestyle and beliefs.

We will return to the cabin complex at 5 pm for a break and dinner, followed by a night walk to hear the sounds of birds and insects.

We will spend the night in the Amazon jungle.

Day 2

We will leave the lodge to enjoy the sunrise in the Amazon (around 5 am), witnessing the sunlight filtering through the jungle.

The morning will be spent observing exotic birds, including the scarlet macaw.

After a delicious breakfast, we will visit the serpentarium, a sanctuary for snakes, sloths, ocelots, turtles, and parrots. Enjoy drinks made with medicinal plants.

We will return to the lodge at 12:30 pm to rest before lunch. At 2:30 pm, we will board a boat back to Iquitos, arriving around 4:30 pm.

Accommodation

The accommodation for this trip is in cabins with private room and bathroom. You can select a double bed or two single beds.
