Amazon + Itaya Rivers Boat Tour

In the mood for a boat tour along the Amazon and Itaya rivers? If you're in Iquitos, this activity includes a visit to an animal breeder and a snake room.

Explore the Jungle

At the scheduled time the group will meet at the Iquitos pier before proceeding to the Amazon River to explore the surrounding nature. Participants will board a traditional boat for a trip down the confluence of the Amazon and Itaya rivers. During the tour, insights into the river channels and the unique flora and fauna in this area will be provided.

Visitors will tour an animal breeder to observe lizards, piranhas, paiches, turtles, and the notable Victoria Amazonica flower. A viewpoint will offer a spectacular view of the confluence of rivers. The tour concludes with a visit to the Amazonian snake room, where various snakes are bred, and you will learn about these reptiles typical in the Peruvian jungle.

After the tour, which lasts between 5 and 6 hours, participants will return to the starting point via another boat trip down the Amazon and Itaya rivers.
