Amazon, Nanay & Momon Rivers Excursion

After picking you up at 9 am at your hotel in Iquitos, we'll head to the Amazon jungle, where a boat will be waiting to take us down the world's largest river. As we navigate through this wild paradise, we'll see the colorful flora of the rainforest, characterized by tall trees that thrive in the warm temperatures and humidity.

On this journey, we'll visit an animal sanctuary that houses macaws, toucans, monkeys, snakes, and other reptiles, including the anaconda. You'll also see unique species that inhabit this region.

We'll continue our cruise to one of Peru's three largest rivers, the Nanay, which is 315 kilometers (196 miles) long and hosts the towns of Santo Tomás, Padre Cocha, and Santa Clara, before proceeding to the Momon River.

We'll stop at an Amazonian camp for a buffet lunch, and then take a short walk through the jungle to visit a community of Boras Indigenous Peoples. Here, we will learn about their customs and traditions, with opportunities to participate in traditional dances for those interested.

Finally, we'll sail back to the departure dock and return to your hotel in Iquitos, arriving at 5 pm.
