Discover one of the most beautiful areas of the enchanting Peruvian Amazon on this excursion to the Amazon, Nanay & Momon rivers from Iquitos - an unforgettable route!

Amazon, Nanay & Momon Rivers Excursion

After picking you up at 9 am at your hotel in Iquitos, we will head to the Amazon jungle, where a boat will take us down the world's largest river. As we navigate through this area, we will see the vibrant flora of the rainforest and experience the tall trees characteristic of the region.

On this journey, we will visit an animal sanctuary that houses macaws, toucans, monkeys, snakes, and other reptiles, including the anaconda. You can also observe species unique to this area.

We will reach one of Peru's largest rivers, the Nanay, which is 315 kilometers (196 miles) long and hosts the towns of Santo Tomás, Padre Cocha, and Santa Clara. The cruise will then continue to the Momon River.

We will stop at an Amazonian camp for a buffet lunch, followed by a short jungle walk to visit a community of Boras Indigenous Peoples. Here, we will learn about their customs and traditions and participate in traditional dances if desired.

Finally, we will sail back to the dock and return to your hotel in Iquitos, where we will arrive at 5 pm.
