Discover one of the most beautiful areas of the enchanting Peruvian Amazon on this excursion to the Amazon, Nanay & Momon rivers from Iquitos - an unforgettable route!

Amazon, Nanay & Momon Rivers Excursion

After picking you up at 9 am at your hotel in Iquitos, we'll head to the Amazon jungle, where a boat will be waiting to take us down the world's largest river. Throughout this journey, we'll see the lush flora of the rainforest, characterized by tall trees thriving in the warm temperatures and humidity.

On this trip, we'll visit an animal sanctuary that houses macaws, toucans, monkeys, snakes, and other reptiles, including the anaconda. Some species unique to this region will also be observed.

Our cruise will proceed to the Nanay River, one of the three largest rivers in Peru, extending 315 kilometers (196 miles) long and passing through the towns of Santo Tomás, Padre Cocha, and Santa Clara, before continuing to the Momon River.

We'll stop at an Amazonian camp for a buffet lunch, followed by a short jungle walk to visit a community of Boras Indigenous Peoples. Visitors will learn about their customs and traditions and may participate in traditional dances if interested.

Finally, we'll sail back to the departure dock and return to your hotel in Iquitos, arriving by 5 pm.
