Amazon & Ucayali 4-Day Luxury Cruise

The itinerary of your luxury cruise will vary depending on the time of year that you're joining us.

December to May

Day 1: Iquitos - Nauta

We will pick you up from the airport or your hotel and take you to the Hilton Iquitos for lunch. Then, we will proceed to Nauta, the starting point of the cruise. Upon arrival, cruise staff will take you to your suite and offer a welcome cocktail. An introductory talk will follow, along with a welcome dinner before departure along the Ucayali River.

Day 2: Yanallpa del Ucayali - Tapiche River - Dorado River

Morning boat trip to Yanallpa del Ucayali in the Pacaya Samiria National Reserve to spot wildlife. After breakfast, we will ride on the Tapiche River and return for a cooking demonstration before fishing techniques are tried on the Dorado River. Night viewing of caimans and nocturnal species will precede dinner.

Day 3: Yarapa River - Amazon River - Huasi Community

After breakfast, we explore the Yarapa River and see pink and grey dolphins. Lunch on board, followed by a visit to the Huasi community to learn their customs. Return for a sunset viewing and live music show before dinner.

Day 4: Amazon Rescue Centre - Iquitos

We will have breakfast and disembark in Iquitos. A vehicle will take us to the Amazon Rescue Centre. Afterward, we will transport you to the airport or your hotel in Iquitos.

June to November

Day 1: Iquitos - Nauta

Pick-up from the airport or hotel for lunch at Hilton Iquitos. Afterward, we travel to Nauta to board the cruise ship. A welcome cocktail will be provided, followed by a briefing about the itinerary and a welcome dinner as the ship sets sail.

Day 2: Ucayali River - Yucurichi - Bagazán Lake

After breakfast, we will hike in Yucuruchi, returning to the boat for a culinary demonstration. Post-lunch, enjoy kayaking or a boat trip on Lake Bagazán. Evening includes an Amazonian music show and night game viewing.

Day 3: Yarapa River - Vistalegre - Amazon River

Boat trip to Yarapa River to see dolphins, followed by breakfast and a visit to Vistalegre village and its butterfly farm. Lunch on board and a sunset view on the Amazon River precede an evening music show.

Day 4: Amazon Rescue Centre - Iquitos

Disembarkation and transport to the Amazon Rescue Centre after breakfast. Visit the conservation centre and return to the airport or hotel in Iquitos.

Accommodation

The tour includes 3 nights on a luxury cruise ship with full board in your chosen suite category. The Zafiro cruise ship features two decks and suites with private bathrooms, comfortable beds, and panoramic windows for incredible views.
