Amazon & Ucayali 4-Day Luxury Cruise

The itinerary of your luxury cruise will vary depending on the time of year that you're joining us.

December to May

Day 1: Iquitos - Nauta

You'll be picked up from the airport or your hotel and taken to the Hilton Iquitos for lunch. Then, you will travel to Nauta, the starting point of the cruise. Upon arrival, the cruise staff will show you to your suite and provide a welcome cocktail. After an introductory talk, enjoy a welcome dinner as the cruise departs along the Ucayali River.

Day 2: Yanallpa del Ucayali - Tapiche River - Dorado River

A boat trip to Yanallpa del Ucayali will allow for wildlife spotting. After breakfast, a boat ride on the Tapiche River follows. Post lunch, participate in traditional fishing activities on the Dorado River. In the evening, there's a game-viewing activity before dinner.

Day 3: Yarapa River - Amazon River - Huasi Community

Breakfast precedes a boat exploration of the Yarapa River. After lunch onboard, visit the Huasi community. If weather permits, swimming in the Tahuayo River will be available. Enjoy a live music show in the evening before dinner.

Day 4: Amazon Rescue Centre - Iquitos

After breakfast, disembark in Iquitos and visit the Amazon Rescue Centre before your return to the airport or hotel.

June to November

Day 1: Iquitos - Nauta

The pick-up process is similar to the previous itinerary, with lunch at Hilton Iquitos followed by a trip to Nauta. After boarding, you will receive a welcome cocktail and a briefing on the itinerary. Enjoy dinner before the ship sets sail.

Day 2: Ucayali River - Yucurichi - Bagazán Lake

After breakfast, a hike in Yucuruchi will allow for wildlife spotting. Post lunch, enjoy kayaking on the Ucayali River or a boat trip on Lake Bagazán. Evening entertainment includes an Amazonian music show.

Day 3: Yarapa River - Vistalegre - Amazon River

Begin with a boat trip to the Yarapa River to watch the pink and grey dolphins. Visit the village of Vistalegre after breakfast. Enjoy lunch on the cruise while sailing on the Amazon River and watching the sunset. Evening features a live music show.

Day 4: Amazon Rescue Centre - Iquitos

Following breakfast and disembarkation in Iquitos, you will head to the Amazon Rescue Centre to learn about manatee protection before the return journey.

Accommodation

The tour includes 3 nights on a luxury cruise ship with full board in your suite. The Zafiro cruise ship has two decks and offers various suite options for your comfort.

Suite on the first deck: 226-square-foot suite with a double or California king bed.Suite on the second deck: 226-square-foot suite with a double or California king bed and a private balcony.Master Suite: 247-square-foot suite on the first deck with a double or king California bed.Zafiro Suite: 484-square-foot suite on the second deck with a double or king California bed, private balcony, jacuzzi-style bathtub, and a sofa bed.
