Amazon & Ucayali 7-Day Cruise

The following itinerary is for our 7-day cruise from December to May.

Day 1: Iquitos - Nauta

Pickup from Iquitos airport, lunch at DoubleTree by Hilton, and itinerary briefing. Evening settle-in followed by a night excursion on the Amazon River.

Day 2: Yanayacu de Yacapana - Vista Alegre - Ucayali River

Morning boat ride at Yanayacu de Yacapana to spot wildlife including pink dolphins. Visit Vista Alegre butterfly farm and join a piranha fishing activity in the Ucayali River, followed by dinner with live music.

Day 3: Arroyo Marayali - Pahuachiro

Morning boat trip at Arroyo Marayali followed by a stroll through Pahuachiro. Return to the boat for dinner.

Day 4: Nauta

Travel to Nauta via motorbike taxi for local market exploration. Return for dinner and an evening boat ride.

Day 5: Marañon River - San Regis

Visit pink dolphins at dawn, relax in the Marañon River, and visit the community of San Regis for a tree-planting ceremony, followed by dinner there.

Day 6: Arroyo Shiriyacu - San José de Zarapanga - Kukama - Puerto Prado

Excursion to Arroyo Shiriyacu for fishing, lunch in San José de Zarapanga, followed by a visit to the Kukama community and a cooking demonstration aboard the cruiser.

Day 7: Nauta - Amazon Rescue Centre - Iquitos

Disembark at Nauta, visit the Amazon Rescue Centre, then return to Iquitos Airport or your hotel.

June to November

From June to November, the itinerary will adjust due to lower water levels:

No changes for Days 1, 4, 5, 6, and 7.Day 2: Morning boat trip on the Amazon River, followed by a jungle walk.Day 3: Visit Vista Alegre and its butterfly farm and see where the Ucayali and Marañon Rivers meet.

Accommodation

Includes 6 nights' accommodation on a cruiser with full board in your chosen cabin. The La Perla cruise ship features two decks and an observation deck with traditional Amazonian design cabins equipped with essential amenities.

Standard: 150-square-foot cabin with private bathroom.Standard with views: 172-square-foot cabin with balcony access.Superior: 215-square-foot cabin suitable for families.
