Join this tour to discover the sights of Amazonian Venice, the neighbor of Belén. You will canoe down the Itaya River.

The group will meet at the Iquitos pier and proceed to the Belén area along the banks of the Itaya River. You will board a typical boat to head towards Amazonian Venice.

The first stop will be the Belén market, where you will learn about the food customs and daily lives of the inhabitants. As you travel down the river, you will see traditional wooden houses built on stilts above the water.

You will learn about Belén's peculiarities that are submerged several times a month due to changing water levels. The locals use canoes and boats for transportation of food and raw materials.

On the day of the tour, you can decide whether to visit another area of the city known for piranha fishing.

After 3 hours sailing on the Itaya River, you will return to the starting point of the tour.
