Activity Details

At the scheduled time, we’ll pick you up from your hotel in Iquitos and take a tuk-tuk ride to the Bellavista Nanay port, where our Amazon adventure begins. Upon arrival, we’ll be welcomed at this scenic port, the gateway into the Amazon wilderness.

We’ll board a boat and cruise along the Nanay River, enjoying panoramic views as we head toward the confluence with the Amazon River. We’ll discover the history and ecological importance of the world’s longest river and its role in sustaining local communities.

Around midday, we’ll pause for a traditional Amazonian lunch, savoring authentic local dishes surrounded by nature—a unique dining experience.

After lunch, we’ll search for gray and pink Amazonian dolphins, watching these creatures swim in their natural habitat. Next, we’ll embark on a botanical walk through the jungle, learning about medicinal plants used by Indigenous communities. We’ll observe vibrant birds, playful monkeys, and admire towering trees that stand as ancient guardians of the rainforest.

We’ll conclude the excursion by returning to Iquitos, where we’ll part ways in the city center, wrapping up a memorable 9-hour journey.
