Description

At the specified time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in the centre of Iquitos or at the airport, and head to the pier. Here, we'll board a boat and start this day trip to Monkey Island.

We will sail peacefully down the Itaya and Amazon Rivers, discovering the secrets of these waters and admiring their flora and fauna.

Next, we'll visit a native tribe who will showcase their dances and customs, allowing us to learn about their lifestyle.

After 2 hours of sailing, we'll reach Monkey Island, officially known as Isla Rolling, a project aimed at caring for and rehabilitating various primate species before returning them to their natural habitat.

On the island, we’ll explore on foot while learning about the different monkey species. We will have the opportunity to interact with them and feed these animals. Before heading back to the boat, we will enjoy a traditional lunch.

Finally, we'll sail back down the Amazon and Itaya rivers, ending this day trip at your hotel in Iquitos after 6 hours of exploration.
