3-Day Tour

Day 1

Pick-up will be from your hotel or the airport in Iquitos, followed by a drive to the port of Nauta. Here, you'll board a speedboat and travel down the Marañon River, where you can spot pink dolphins. A traditional lunch will be served. The day concludes at a campsite in the Pacaya Samiria National Reserve, where you'll set up tents and explore the Huaylla Lagoon. Dinner in nature precedes a nocturnal trek to search for local wildlife.

Day 2

Early rising for sunrise watching and spotting iguanas and sloths. Breakfast follows, then a boat trip on the Pucate River to observe wildlife like monkeys and macaws. Lunch will be enjoyed in the jungle. An afternoon jungle walk will introduce you to medicinal plants. After dinner, a night canoe tour concludes the day.

Day 3

The final day begins with sailing down the Yarapa River to look for otters. Breakfast and lunch will be served at the camp while learning survival techniques. A jungle hike follows, then free time for swimming. The tour returns to Nauta with an arrival in Iquitos scheduled for 6 pm.

4-Day Tour

Days 1, 2, and 3

The 4-day tour follows the same itinerary as the 3-day tour for the first three days.

Day 4

On the fourth day, an early wake-up allows for bird watching. Following lunch, you'll have free time to explore the Pucate River banks. The return to Nauta is followed by a road trip back to your hotel in Iquitos, arriving by 6 pm. Airport drop-off is available three hours before flight departure.

Accommodation

The tour includes two or three nights of camping in the Pacaya Samiria National Reserve. Accommodation will be in tents or tambos, with complete camping gear provided.

Pickup

Pickup is available from your Iquitos hotel or the airport, as long as your flight lands before 12 pm. Post-reservation, the exact pickup time will be arranged.
