Orongo and Rano Kau Volcano Tour
This tour commences at Ahu Vinapu, an archaeological site showcasing impressive stone structures that trace back to the Incan Empire.
Your journey continues to the renowned Rano Kau Volcano, where you’ll ascend its slopes and appreciate its expansive crater, now holding a serene freshwater lake. The magnitude of the volcano will leave you in awe!
Adjacent to Rano Kau, you will explore the remnants of the ceremonial village of Orongo. Here, ancient stone constructions and petroglyphs relate to the Makemake religious tradition and the customs of the "bird men". After approximately 3 to 5 hours, we’ll return to your accommodation.
Easter Island and Anakena Beach Tour
After you’re collected from your hotel, our first destination will be Ahu Vinapu, followed by a visit to Ahu Akahanga, the historical site of the first king of Rapa Nui. Here, explore various moai structures and an intriguing cave.
The tour then proceeds along the coast, showcasing impressive ceremonial platforms, including Ahu One Makihi and Ahu Tongariki, which boasts 15 tall moai reaching up to 9 meters (29 feet).
Your exploration continues around the Rano Raraku Volcano and Ovahe Beach, where you can enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Concluding at Anakena, the island’s most expansive coral sand beach, you’ll be captivated by its turquoise waters, vibrant marine life, and palm trees, immersing yourself in a slice of paradise.
After a journey lasting 5 to 6 hours, we’ll head back to your hotel.
Terevaka Volcano Tour
Your adventure begins with pickup from your hotel as we set off to Terevaka Volcano, the tallest point on Easter Island, reaching 511 meters (1676 feet).
Upon arrival at the volcano's base, you may choose between hiking or horseback riding to reach the summit. Gradually, we’ll ascend to revel in breathtaking panoramic views—a perfect photo opportunity!
While navigating the volcanic terrain, you’ll gain insights into the geological history of Terevaka, essential for understanding the formation of Easter Island. We’ll return to your hotel after approximately 3 to 5 hours.
Hanga Roa Boat Tour
Your tour starts with a transfer to Hanga Roa Harbour, the island’s capital, where you'll board a traditional Rapanui vessel exclusively for your group.
Setting sail along the Hanga Roa coastline, witness the stunning clarity of the water—this region is known for having some of the clearest waters globally, with visibility reaching up to 60 meters (196 feet).
Heading towards the dormant Rano Kau Volcano in the southern part of the island, keep an eye out for a cluster of three islets: Motu Kao Kao, Motu Iti, and Motu Nui, the largest. Along the way, marvel at the towering cliffs of Easter Island and take a break to swim and snorkel.
Concluding this tour, we make our way back to Hanga Roa pier, returning to your hotels after approximately 4 to 6 hours.
Ahu Tongariki Sunrise Tour
This tour begins before dawn, collecting you from your hotel to head to Ahu Tongariki. Here, we’ll explore one of Rapa Nui’s most striking archaeological landmarks.
At Ahu Tongariki, you’ll witness the striking first light as it illuminates Easter Island. This moment is one of the most beautiful on the island, as the sun rises behind the majestic moai.
This awe-inspiring view, framed by the Pacific Ocean, offers a tranquil atmosphere for reflection and capturing the perfect photograph. After 2 to 3 hours, we’ll return to your hotel.
Ahu Akivi, Puna Pau & Ana Te Pahu Tour
Your adventure begins with a pickup from your hotel as we embark on a journey to explore Ahu Akivi, Puna Pau, and Ana Te Pahu. We’ll delve into the mysterious caves of Rapa Nui, starting with the impressive Ana Te Pahu, a 4.34 km long cave that once sheltered the island’s ancestors. Observe the fascinating cave paintings and appreciate the rich history of this location.
The next stop is at Ahu Akivi, a sacred site housing seven renowned moai sculptures. Here, you will hear the legend honoring the explorers who discovered Rapa Nui, who journeyed from the island of Hiva.
Continuing towards Puna Pau, you will explore a small crater where the pukaos—carved sculptures in volcanic stone—were produced. You’ll learn the traditional techniques used to create these unique adornments for the giant moai heads scattered throughout the island.
After discovering these captivating locations, we will return to your hotel within 3 to 5 hours.
