Islamabad Private Tour

After hotel pickup, we will begin our English language tour of Islamabad at the Faisal Mosque, one of the largest Islamic temples in the world. During our visit, we will explore the origins of its construction, which, like many buildings in the city, dates back to the 1960s.

Adjacent to the mosque, we will visit the mausoleum of General Muhammad Zia-ul-Haq. To appreciate the Margalla hills and the architecture of both sites, we will proceed to the Daman e Kok viewpoint, where we will observe the urban grid layout of the city, Lake Rawal, and the Blue Area, Islamabad's financial center.

We will then head to Pir Sohawa, located 5000 feet above sea level. This tourist resort features several viewpoints providing a unique perspective of Islamabad and its surroundings. We will discuss the historical context behind the creation of a new megalopolis in northern Pakistan in the mid-20th century.

During our stop at the Monal Restaurant for lunch, you may enjoy local cuisine while taking in the extraordinary views of the landscapes. After lunch, we will return to your hotel in Islamabad.
