Food Tour of Istria

After picking you up from your hotel in Izola at 9 am, we'll start our food tour of Istria, the ideal activity for foodies wanting to taste the cuisines of Croatia.

We'll cross the border from Slovenia into Croatia and head to our first stop: the tiny town of Hum. As we stroll through its streets, we'll discover the charm of this Croatian village and learn about biska, a typical local brandy made with spices.

Next, we'll head to the village of Motovun. Here, we'll explore its old town, visit the Church of St. Stephen, and learn about the white truffles grown in the forests of Motovun. We'll also learn how to prepare a dish with this product and later taste it in a local restaurant.

After Motovun, our last stop will be Grožnjan, where we will explore the tradition of olive and wine production while strolling through its streets.

Our food tour of Istria will conclude back at your hotel in Izola at 5 pm.
