Food Tour of Istria

After picking you up from your hotel in Izola at 9 am, we'll start our food tour of Istria, designed for food enthusiasts wanting to explore Croatian cuisines.

We'll cross the border from Slovenia into Croatia and make our first stop in the town of Hum. As we stroll through its streets, we will learn about biska, a local brandy made with spices.

Next, we will head to the village of Motovun. We will explore its old town, visit the Church of St. Stephen, and learn about the white truffles grown in the forests of Motovun. We will also have the opportunity to prepare a dish with this product and taste it in a local restaurant.

Finally, we will visit Grožnjan, where we will discover the tradition of olive and wine production while exploring the village.

Our food tour of Istria will conclude back at your hotel in Izola at 5 pm.
