Let yourself be seduced by the flavours of the Istrian Peninsula with this delicious Istria Food Tour. You'll travel through Hum, Motovun and Grozhnjan while tasting their most typical products.
Description
We'll pick you up at your hotel in Koper at 9 am. This tour focuses on discovering Istrian gastronomy.
Our first stop will be Hum, known as the smallest city in the world. Here, you'll learn about its history and taste biska, a unique brandy made with spices from an ancient recipe exclusive to Hum.
Next, we'll head to Motovun, a notable medieval town. The tour includes significant monuments, such as the bell tower of St. Stephen's Church, and highlights the town's famous product, the truffle. The Motovun forest is recognized for its white truffles and extensive vineyards. Following this, we will visit a local restaurant to learn how to prepare a dish using local ingredients, which will be tasted afterwards.
To conclude the food tour, we'll visit Grožnjan, a picturesque village known for its wine and olive industry, as well as numerous art galleries.
Finally, we'll return to Koper, concluding the tour at 5 pm.
