Let yourself be seduced by the flavours of the Istrian Peninsula with this delicious Istria Food Tour. You'll travel through Hum, Motovun and Grožnjan while tasting their most typical products.
Description
We'll pick you up at your hotel in Koper at 9 am. Are you ready to pay tribute to your palate? Let's go and discover Istrian gastronomy!
The first stop of the tour will be Hum, considered the smallest city in the world. Located in the heart of the Istrian peninsula, this Croatian town hides a surprising history about its birth. Besides learning about this legend, we'll discover the biska, a brandy made with spices based on an ancient recipe exclusive to Hum.
We'll continue to Motovun, known for its medieval architecture. During our visit, we'll tour emblematic monuments, including the bell tower of St. Stephen's Church, and explore the town's star product, the truffle.
The Motovun forest is renowned for white truffles and vineyards. Afterward, we'll visit a local restaurant to learn how to prepare a dish with typical products, which we will taste later.
Our final destination will be Grožnjan, a village known for its wine and olive industry, along with numerous art galleries. We will conclude the day returning to Koper, ending at 5 pm.
