Lipica Horse Farm & Škocjan Caves Tour

We'll pick you up from your hotel in Koper at 9 am on the morning of the tour. From there we'll head to Lipica, the origin of the Lipizzaner white horse, a significant emblem of Slovenia. These horses even appear on the country's 20 cent coins.

At one of the oldest stud farms, you'll learn about the origin of these horses and the daily care they receive. The karst landscape of Lipica enhances the region's uniqueness.

During the guided tour of the farm, you can interact with the horses and explore the Lipikum Museum. Optionally, you can watch a Lipizzaner horse show.

Next, we'll proceed to the Škocjan caves, a World Heritage Site denoting significant subterranean phenomena.

Upon entering the caves, you'll encounter impressive karst formations along the Reka River. Notable features include the organ, the Big Collapse Doline, and the Murmuring Cave. The Škocjan caves contain one of the largest underground canyons globally, providing a unique experience.

At the end of the excursion, we will return to Koper, arriving at 2 pm.
