Lipica Horse Farm & Škocjan Caves Tour

Pick-up from your hotel in Koper is at 9 am. The tour begins with a journey to Lipica, home of the Lipizzaner white horse, an emblem of Slovenia featured on the country's 20 cent coins.

You will enter one of the oldest stud farms where you will learn about the origin of these horses and their daily care. The karst landscape of Lipica adds to the region's uniqueness.

During the guided tour of the farm, you can interact with the horses and visit the Lipikum Museum. Optionally, you may watch a Lipizzaner horse show.

Next, the tour proceeds to the Škocjan Caves, a World Heritage Site showcasing one of the most significant subterranean phenomena.

Inside the caves, view spectacular karst formations along the Reka River. Highlights include the organ, the Big Collapse Doline, and the impressive Murmuring Cave. The Škocjan caves feature one of the largest underground canyons, providing a unique experience.

The excursion concludes with a return to Koper, arriving at 2 pm.
