Lipica Horse Farm & Škocjan Caves Tour

Pickup will be at your hotel in Koper at 9 am. The tour proceeds to Lipica, the origin of the Lipizzaner white horse, recognized as an emblem of Slovenia. These horses are featured on the country's 20 cent coins.

At one of the oldest stud farms, you'll learn about the horses' origins and daily care practices. The karst landscape of Lipica is a significant aspect of the region's uniqueness.

During the guided tour of the farm, you'll have the opportunity to see the horses up close and visit the Lipikum Museum. There is also an option to watch a Lipizzaner horse show.

Following the horse farm, we will travel to the Škocjan Caves, a World Heritage Site known for its significant subterranean features.

Upon entering the caves, you'll observe karst formations along the Reka River, including the organ and the Murmuring Cave. The caves are home to one of the largest underground canyons, providing a unique experience.

The excursion concludes with a return to Koper, arriving at 2 pm.
