Lipica Horse Farm & Škocjan Caves Tour

We'll pick you up from your hotel in Koper at 9 am on the morning of the tour. From there we'll hit the road for Lipica, the origin of the Lipizzaner white horse. This area is famous for these animals, featured on the country's 20 cent coins.

At one of the oldest stud farms, you'll learn about the origin of these horses and the daily care they receive. The karst landscape of Lipica enhances the region's significance.

During the guided tour of the farm, you can see the horses up close and explore the Lipikum Museum. Optionally, you can watch a Lipizzaner horse show.

Next, we'll head to the Škocjan caves, a World Heritage Site known for its significant subterranean phenomena.

Once inside the caves, you'll observe its karst formations along the Reka River, including the organ, the Big Collapse Doline, and the Murmuring Cave. The Skocjan caves are home to one of the largest underground canyons in the world.

At the end of the excursion, we will return to Koper, arriving at 2 pm.
