Postojna Cave + Predjama Castle Tour

We'll pick you up from your hotel in Izola at 9 am and drive northeast to the Postojna Cave. This cave is renowned for its stunning features.

After approximately one hour, we'll arrive at Postojna and explore this karst cave. You'll see impressive rock formations, including stalagmites that are 5 meters long.

We will continue our visit by taking a train to areas not accessible on foot, where we will see Murano glass chandeliers and a ballroom. Another highlight is the olms, often referred to as the 'dragon's offspring'.

Next, we will visit Predjama Castle, a medieval fortress situated on a cliff. We will explore the castle known for its legends, including the story of Erasmus of Predjama, the Slovenian Robin Hood.

After touring the castle, we will return to Izola and drop you off at your hotel around 2 pm, concluding the tour.
