On this tour to the Postojna Caves and Predjama Castle, you'll discover two of Slovenia's significant sites.

Postojna Cave + Predjama Castle Tour

Pickup will occur at your hotel in Izola at 9 am, followed by a drive Northeast past the Slovenian border to reach the Postojna Cave. This cave is noted for its beauty.

After approximately one hour, we will arrive at Postojna and enter the karst cave. Visitors can admire various rock formations, including stalagmites that are 5 meters long.

We will continue exploring the cave on a train, which provides access to areas not reachable on foot. Highlights include Murano glass chandeliers and a ballroom. Another notable aspect of the visit is the olms, referred to as the 'dragon's offspring'.

Next, we will visit Predjama Castle, a medieval fortress situated on a cliff. The castle is rich in legends and stories, including that of Erasmus of Predjama, known as the Slovenian Robin Hood.

After exploring the castle's rooms, we will return to Izola, concluding the tour with a drop-off at your hotel around 2 pm.
