Let yourself be surprised by the Postojna Cave and Predjama Castle with this tour from Koper. You'll learn about the secrets of Slovenian rocks while enjoying a train ride.

Description

We'll collect you from your hotel or the port in Koper at the specified time. Once gathered, we'll travel in a comfortable minibus to Postojna, the most visited karst cave in Europe.

Upon arrival at Postojna Cave, we'll explore its interior, discovering various formations of stalactites and stalagmites. To understand the geological heritage of these caves, we'll take a fun train ride to see the ballroom, Murano glass lamps, and smaller caves.

This route encompasses 5 kilometers of underground galleries open to the public while revealing the secrets of Postojna. For example, it is believed that a dragon once lived here. The visit is designed to be memorable.

After an hour and a half of exploring the caves, we will proceed to the second stop: the castle of Predjama, located just 15 minutes away. Prepare to admire the largest castle in the world built inside a cave.

We'll stop in front of this fortress carved into the rock to admire it from outside, sharing curiosities, including the legend of Erasmus of Predjama, also known as the Slovenian Robin Hood. Its cliffside location and mysterious aura are striking.

Finally, we will return to Koper, completing the tour after a 4.5-hour excursion.
