Socerb, Hrastovlje & Marezige Tour

Having picked you up from your hotel in Izola at 9 am, we'll drive to Socerb, a traditional Slovenian village full of history and intriguing stories.

After approximately 20 minutes' drive, we'll reach Socerb and start walking around its castle, a significant landmark. This medieval fortress is located in the highest part of the town and provides a view of the Gulf of Trieste.

We'll continue our exploration by entering the Holy Cave, an underground sanctuary where we will learn about the history of Saint Servulus.

The next stop will be in Hrastovlje. Here we will visit the Church of the Holy Trinity, a 13th-century church surrounded by an impressive wall, featuring the famous fresco of the Danse Macabre.

We'll return to the minibus and travel to our last destination of the day: Marezige, where we will explore Slovenia's tradition of wine and olive growing. We'll visit a local farm to taste locally-produced olive oil accompanied by typical snacks.

We will then begin our return to Izola, with arrival at your hotel scheduled for approximately 5 pm.
