Izta-Popo Zoquiapan National Park Hike

After picking you up from your hotel in Puebla, we will head towards the Izta-Popo Zoquiapan National Park, passing through the Paso de Cortés until we reach the La Joyita parking lot, where the hiking route begins.

We will hike along the Ruta de los Portillos, a 4-kilometer path featuring icy landscapes and deserted areas. Participants will enjoy views of the park's two volcanoes, Iztaccihuatl and Popocatepetl, while learning about the legends associated with them.

There will be a stop to enjoy a quesadilla and a hot drink. As we continue our hike, wildlife sightings may include coyotes, badgers, lizards, and deer. If interested in mycology, look for various species of fungi in the park. This experience aims to be unique.

After 4 hours of hiking, we will return to the main parking lot and head back to your hotel in Puebla, arriving around 5 PM.
