On this boat trip around Damas Island, we'll sail through its mangroves and enjoy the fauna and flora of one of the most important ecosystems of Costa Rica.

Isla Damas Boat Trip

At the scheduled time, we'll pick you up at your hotel and head to the dock for a boat ride around Isla Damas. On board, we'll navigate through the mangrove ecosystem of Damas Island, observing various species of reptiles, anteaters, and white-faced monkeys. Throughout the tour, we'll share interesting facts about the area.

While exploring the calm waters, we'll especially look for bird species such as herons, kingfishers, ospreys, and frigate birds. We'll also traverse natural tunnels formed by tree roots. After the boat ride, we will return to the mainland for a typical Costa Rican lunch. The tour concludes with a drop-off at your hotel after six hours of activities.
