Jaén Murder Mystery Tour
On 13th July 2016, at 3:30 am, a civilian alerted authorities of his neighbor's distressing cries of "Come here, Satan, for I am your brother." When the National Police arrived at the scene, in front of Jaén's cathedral, the starting point of our tour, they found a shocking scene: a man of about 30 years old, dead, naked, and covered in... well, details will be provided during the tour.
We will begin our tour in the historic center of Jaén by exploring the story of the mysterious corpse found at the entrance to the cathedral. Speculations suggest that his death may be linked to satanic rituals, while others draw unsettling parallels to a crime in the novel "The Da Vinci Code." The topic has even been addressed by the program Fourth Millennium. Our own theory will be revealed during the tour.
We will also discuss other crimes in the city. On 21st March 1473 at Jaén Cathedral, The Constable Don Miguel Lucas de Iranzo was murdered while praying in the Main Chapel. As revenge for his death, King Henry IV of Castile ordered certain Jaén rulers to be hanged from their windows.
After learning about other enigmatic crimes committed in Jaén, we will conclude the tour.
