Jaén Murder Mystery Tour
On 13th July 2016, at 3:30 am, a worried civilian alerted authorities about neighbour's distressing cries, leading to the National Police discovering a dead, naked man in front of Jaén's cathedral, the starting point of our tour.
The tour begins by exploring the story of the mysterious corpse found at the cathedral's entrance. Theories abound regarding his death, ranging from satanic rituals to resembling a crime in "The Da Vinci Code." This case even received attention from the Fourth Millennium programme. Our own theory will be unveiled during the tour.
We'll delve into other crimes in the city, including the 21st March 1473 incident at Jaén Cathedral where Constable Don Miguel Lucas de Iranzo was murdered while praying. In retribution, King Henry IV of Castile ordered the hanging of certain Jaén rulers as punishment.
After discussing other enigmatic crimes committed in Jaén, we will conclude the tour.
