Agra Private Day Trip

No trip to India is complete without a visit to the magical Taj Mahal in Agra. Fall in love with one of the Seven Wonders of the World on this full-day trip from Jaipur.

Description

After an early pickup from your hotel in Jaipur, you will travel east in an air-conditioned vehicle. The journey takes approximately four hours, with a stop for a comfort break.

You will arrive in Agra around 10:30 am and be taken directly to the Taj Mahal, one of the most renowned monuments globally. Commissioned in 1632 by Mughal emperor Shah Jahan, this mausoleum was completed in 1651, employing approximately 20,000 workers and 1000 elephants. You will learn about its history while exploring this historical site.

After exploring the complex, you will head to a local restaurant for lunch, which is not included. Following lunch, the tour will continue to Agra Fort, constructed by emperor Akbar in 1565 to protect the capital. Agra Fort is one of the largest and most luxurious fortresses in India and offers stunning views of the Taj Mahal.

Finally, around 5 pm, you will return to Jaipur, arriving approximately at 9 pm.
