Agra Private Day Trip

No trip to India is complete without a visit to the magical Taj Mahal in Agra. This full-day trip from Jaipur allows you to experience one of the Seven Wonders of the World.

Description

After an early pickup from your hotel in Jaipur, you’ll travel east by air-conditioned vehicle. Along the four-hour journey, there will be a comfort break.

Arriving in Agra around 10:30 am, you'll proceed directly to the Taj Mahal, commissioned in 1632 by Mughal emperor Shah Jahan and completed in 1651. The construction involved about 20,000 workers and 1000 elephants. You will learn about its history while exploring the site.

After your visit to the impressive complex, you'll enjoy lunch at a local restaurant (meal not included).

Next, you will visit the Agra Fort, built under emperor Akbar in 1565 to protect the capital. Agra Fort is known for its grandeur and provides stunning views of the Taj Mahal.

Finally, around 5 pm, you will depart back to Jaipur and arrive around 9 pm.
