Renowned for their beautiful Hindu and Muslim temples, Puskar and Ajmer are two of Rajasthan's most sacred cities. Discover them on this private tour.

Description

After being picked up from your hotel in Jaipur, you will travel to Pushkar, one of India's oldest settlements. It is said that Lord Brahma dropped a lotus flower into the valley, where a holy lake emerged. The Jagatpita Brahma Mandir is one of the few temples dedicated to Brahma, located where he is believed to have performed a yagna. Inside, you can learn about the customs and traditions of Hinduism.

Just a five-minute walk from the Brahma Temple is the Pushkar lake. Observe locals at the lakeside ghats, where purification rituals and bathing occur.

Your tour continues with a visit to the Pushkar market, featuring stalls with handicrafts and handmade items. You will have free time for lunch (not included).

After lunch, you'll proceed to Ajmer, home to the Dargah Sharif, a shrine dedicated to Muslim saint Moinuddin Chishti. You will have the opportunity to enter and admire the shrine's beauty.

Following the visit, you will return to your hotel in Jaipur.
