Activity Details

At the indicated time, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Jaipur and head to a traditional printmaking studio. Bring a garment to print, or we’ll provide fabric—either way, get ready to bring your imagination to life!

Once in the workshop, you'll receive all the necessary materials: fabrics, dyes, tools, and stencils. You'll learn the basics of traditional Indian printmaking, using natural dyes extracted from plants and minerals, essential to printmaking. This practice reflects the rich culture and history of the area.

During the session, you'll try different stamping techniques, like block stamping with carved wooden blocks, and silkscreen printing for creating intricate patterns. You can also experiment with stencils to design your creations, using drawing, painting, and digital design techniques.

After 2 creative hours, we’ll take you back to your hotel with a personalized piece and a deeper appreciation for Jaipur’s textile heritage.
