Activity Details

At the indicated time, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Jaipur and head to a traditional printmaking studio. Bring a garment to print, or we’ll provide fabric. Prepare to bring your imagination to life!

In the workshop, you'll receive all necessary materials: fabrics, dyes, tools, and stencils. We will cover the basics of traditional Indian printmaking, utilizing natural dyes extracted from plants and minerals, integral to the process. This practice reflects the rich culture and history of the area.

You will try various stamping techniques, such as block stamping with carved wooden blocks and silkscreen printing for creating intricate patterns. Additionally, you can use stencils to develop custom designs and create your own designs using drawing, painting, and digital design techniques.

After 2 creative hours, we will return you to your hotel with a personalized piece and a deeper appreciation for Jaipur’s textile heritage.
