Tour Details
At the scheduled time, we will pick you up from your hotel for a full tour of Jakarta.
The first stop will be the National Museum, where we will have a guided tour through its significant exhibitions, learning about Indonesia's history and culture. This museum, known as the 'Elephant Building', is one of the oldest in Southeast Asia.
Next, we will visit the Great Istiqlal Mosque, the largest in Southeast Asia and ninth worldwide, located near the Jakarta Cathedral, showcasing religious harmony.
After these visits, we will take photos at the National Museum of Indonesia and have a traditional lunch for 30 to 45 minutes.
Continuing the tour, we will walk through Jakarta to Chinatown, also known as Glodok, where you can admire its temples and market.
For an adventure, we will take a tuk-tuk ride through Old Batavia, with a history as a trading center due to its strategic location. We will also visit a traditional puppet studio to learn about shadow puppets in Indonesian culture, then reach the old Port of Jakarta.
The tour lasts 5 to 6 hours and concludes back at the starting point.
