Rafting in Jalcomulco
Participants will meet at Camino hacia la Barranca, where changing rooms are available. Rafting in Jalcomulco is recognized as one of the top locations for this activity in Mexico. A briefing on safety rules and paddling techniques will be provided before the adventure begins.
The rafting journey spans 18 kilometers (11 miles) along the banks of the La Antigua or Pescados rivers. Participants will encounter various obstacles, paddle through white waters, and enjoy the experience while getting wet in the process. Several stops will be made for refreshing dips in calmer sections of the river.
After completing the river tour, a minibus will transport participants back to the starting point.
Duration
The duration of the rafting activity depends on river flow. During the rainy season (July to September), the route lasts approximately 2 hours, while in low flow seasons, it lasts about 3 hours.
